For sellers

If you carry premium furniture and have inventory you'd move at the right price, QuietBid is a private channel for that. We never advertise, post, or publish a price. Buyers name a price privately, and you decide whether to accept.

Compliance and your pricing

Manufacturer advertised-price rules govern how a price is advertised, not the price at which a single unit transacts privately. QuietBid never advertises, posts, or publishes any price. There is no public listing and no price feed. Your store name is shown only to the one buyer whose price you choose to accept, and only so you can complete the sale.

ⓘ QuietBid is not affiliated with any furniture manufacturer. Please confirm your own specific manufacturer policy before participating.

Who this is for

QuietBid is built for sellers who carry premium furniture and have inventory they'd move at the right price but can't advertise a discount publicly. Buyers name a private price on the piece they want, and we ask the sellers who carry it whether they will accept.

QuietBid is new, so we will not pretend there is a flood of demand yet. Joining is free and takes a few minutes, and you only hear from us when a real buyer's bid matches what you carry.

How it works for you

  1. 1. A buyer names a price on a piece you carry.
  2. 2. We message you the bid. You see only the SKU, the bid, and the expiration date.
  3. 3. You accept or pass. There is no obligation either way.
  4. 4. If you accept, we introduce you to the buyer to close directly on your normal terms.
Bid received: sofa, SKU 89-xxx, buyer offers $2,650 (list $2,995), expires in 3 days. Accept or pass.

How the economics work

A buyer bids $3,400 on a $3,800 sofa. You accept. The buyer pays you $3,400 directly through your normal checkout. QuietBid is paid its commission only on that closed sale, on the terms you agree when you join, with nothing added to any public listing.

No public price changes

QuietBid never advertises, posts, or publishes your pricing, because manufacturer rules govern how a price is advertised. Buyers see only the SKU and their own private bid. Your store name appears only after you choose to accept.

You control every transaction

Every bid is optional. No obligation to respond, no minimum acceptance rate, no penalty for passing. You decide what's worth taking.

No upfront cost

QuietBid earns a commission only on a completed deal, on terms agreed when you join. No fee to join, no per-bid fee, nothing unless a deal closes.

How payment works

The buyer pays you directly at your accepted price through your normal checkout. QuietBid is never in the payment path. After a deal closes, QuietBid invoices its commission on the terms you agreed when you joined.

Qualified buyers with real intent

Buyers confirm a commitment to purchase before your identity is shared. If a confirmed buyer does not complete, you owe nothing: commission is only charged on a closed deal. Your name and price are shared only with that one buyer.

No race against other stores

Bids are routed privately, and seller identities are never disclosed to one another. You respond to a buyer's private price, not a race against other stores. This keeps your pricing quiet, in line with manufacturer advertised-price rules.

Private by design

Every transaction happens off the public record, because manufacturer rules govern how a price is advertised, not how a single unit transacts privately. Buyers see only their own bid. Your store name appears only after you accept. Nothing QuietBid does touches your public pricing or your manufacturer relationship.

QuietBid is not affiliated with any furniture manufacturer. Pricing policy compliance is the responsibility of the participating retailer.

What you agree to
